Nestled in Hot Springs, VA (just about 4 hours from D.C.) you can soak yourselves in warm mineral waters. The hot springs contain magnesium sulfate, iron, and lithium and is perfect for relaxing and detoxing!
We stayed at Omni Homestead Resort and Spa for my sister's 40th Birthday and had to check out the Warm Springs Pools!
We went in early March 2026, so luckily it wasn't crowded. We actually were the only ones there! Because of this, we were able to take a tour of both bathhouses: The Gentlemen's bathhouse and the Ladies bathhouse.

The main feature in the Gentlemen’s bathhouse is The Overflow Bath, which is a water-induced massage created by a natural waterfall while the main feature in the Ladies bathhouse was The Oculus. To immerse ourselves with natural Vitamin D on top of the mineral water, we chose the Ladies bath!

A $35 per person included a 50-minute soak during Mon-Thu and while it is $40 from Fri-Sat. Between 9A-1P, you can bring children under the age of 16 with a guardian at the Ladies' Bathhouse. There are also co-ed options!
If you're staying at Homestead, a shuttle will pick you up from the resort (just 15 minutes away!), but there's parking for those who want to drive or for those who aren't staying at Homestead.
They offer the towels and have float noodles so that you can relax and soak it all in. If you take a look at the outer rim, there are plenty of changing rooms encompassing the bath!
Let me tell you, we definitely felt the detoxing and healing!
