Oh how ideas come alive when two creative minds come together. Annie had some brilliant visions of combining her photography with my art! Of course one of many things we have in common is our mentality of "Rice is Life".
Annie is a talented photographer that captures the beauties of nature's lush greenery. SO, how about a bag of rice on one of Annie's photos? Simple, but yet says so much in one image. Power, culture, partnership, generational, love.
I'm so in love with how straightforward this one image. It's a IYKYK thing and we loved sharing it with our Filipino Community! I'm so grateful for this opportunity with Annie. She's such a wonderful human being that puts our Filipino Community and Womanhood in the spotlight for all of us to shine.
A little about Annie:
Hi I'm Annacion Untalan (Annie) owner + creator of Mojofotoco Photography! Passion turned business, turned obsession!! I eat breath and dream of photography and creating. I create the following photoshoots: Alter-ego, social media, as well as family. I also provide my services to provide free headshots and feature Filipina Owned Businesses here in Hampton Roads. This project is very near and dear to my heart! I love highlighting my culture.I also love working with other creatives and making my clients "FOTO" dreams come true! I am mostly known for my Mojofotoco Alter-ego Project. My number one goal is to make EVERY woman out there feel AMAZING in their own skin. That's what my alter-ego project is all about. Every month I come up with a new themed shoot and it's so much fun to do so. Mojofotoco is definitely growing and I am so excited.I want to continue to work with the community to provide growth and guidance hence my new project Mabuhay 757. This project helps with organizing Filipino Cultural events here in Virginia Beach. Our main focus it to bring the Filipino community closer together each event we do.
