WORK
Our Design Services are original work and free of plagiarism. The Assigned Designer to each project will cooperate with the Client in editing and otherwise reviewing of the Work prior to completion and launch. The Client, will work with the Designer in providing clear direction, feedback and edits by following the Design Policy found in this link.
COMPENSATION
Flat Rate: A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before any design services begin. The remaining 50% is to be paid after all workable files are delivered.
Hourly: A $40 initiation fee is required before any design work is done. Current hourly rates are $40/hr. Timesheet receipts can be provided only at the request of the Client.
Payment: via direct deposit, paypal, check, or other electronic payment processor as agreed to by both parties. If the parameters of the Work change, or if it involves more time than estimated, the Designer will inform the Client about updates on the Work’s cost.
If the parameters of the Work change or if it involves more time than estimated, the Designer will inform the Client about a retrofitted cost before any further work is done.
AFTER WORK IS COMPLETED
If there are instances in which an edit or change may occur on the design project after the Work has been agreed completed. Depending on the scope and amount of changes, the Designer has the right to determine if edits will be free of charge or a new contract and/or invoice may be placed.
RUSH ORDERS
The MAP'D Project, fortunately, is not a “fast-design” kind of brand. We take the time needed to carefully develop quality products for you and your business. Please take the necessary time and preparation by adding Design/Development to your project timeline to ensure your deadline is met. Please understand that Design and Development usually takes 5-10 Business Days for small scale projects while large scale projects can take weeks/months to complete. Anything before the 5-10 Business Days timeline is considered Rush. These requests are not ideal, but are understandable in occasional scenarios with a $40 additional fee per day.
COPYRIGHT
The Client will own the copyright for all materials created under this agreement. The Designer can showcase sample works from this project as portfolio pieces.
TERMINATION
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice at any time.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
The Client promises to pay for the services rendered by the Designer for the Work as agreed upon. By signing below, the Client and the Designer both agree that they have read, understood, and are considered legally bonded to these terms.

You can review the most current version of our Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service. Your continued access to our website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
